5-story mercantile building originally completed in 1864. A two-story converted dwelling on the southern portion of the site was replaced in 1875-76 by the existing five-story addition to the northern section. Currently, the upper stories are used for light manufacturing and the ground story is occupied by a store. The upper floors of the front facade are clad in limestone, with a trio of 2-story round-arches with scrolled keystones on the lower half, and above a stone cornice, smaller arches on the top half. The keystone is missing from the westernmost top arch. The two floors within the lower arches are separated by balustrades, and at the upper arches by carved foliate panels. A brown metal roof cornice with four large brackets crowns the facade on Canal Street.

On Lispenard Street, the facade is clad in red brick. The 3rd and 5th-floor windows have round-arches with keystones. A black metal fire escape runs down the facade, which is capped by a black metal roof cornice with modillions and scrolled end brackets.
