5-story residential building completed in 1869. Designed by William & George Youngs for Eugene Pottier, an importer of flowers. It has a white cast-iron facade, with Corinthian columns at the ground floor, and round-arched upper windows that grow progressively shorter at each floor. The far eastern bay is filled-in, and a white metal fire escape covers the left half of the facade. The building is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with brackets and modillions. The building, used at various times for light manufacturing, storage, display, and printing, has been occupied by dry-goods companies, shirt manufacturers, gun merchants, and several furnishing goods companies. The upper stories were converted to residential use in 1979-80.
