5-story residential building completed in 1869, with a cast-iron facade. There are Corinthian columns on the ground floor, and round-arched windows with keystones on the upper floors, with each floor separated by an iron cornice. In 1896 it was owned by William H. Burnham of Boston, Massachusetts, and was used for linen goods and cloth stamping. Currently, there is residential space above The Flea Theater. Founded in 1996, The Flea Theater presents primarily new American theatre, and provides a venue for film stars to act on a very small (74-seat) stage, as well as a smaller black box theater for experimental and new works.
