5-story residential building completed in 1867 as a store-and-loft building face in cast-iron and stone. The upper floors have segmental-arched windows with keystones, separated by Corinthian half-columns. The top-floor windows are round-arched. The building is crowned by a dentiled roof cornice, topped by a stepped-up pediment with sloping sides and twin finials. For many years the building was owned by banker and New York University professor Richard H. Bull and, subsequently, his son Charles C. Bull, an attorney. One of its earliest occupants was Stern & Kline, importers of men's furnishings; the building was used to store and sell other merchandise as well, including textiles. Around 1990, it was converted to residential use.
