 apartment building, 1860s construction

5-story, L-shaped residential building completed in 1868. Designed by E.J.M. Derrick as a store-and-loft building, it is L-shaped, wrapping around the shorter corner building. The interior side walls are plain brown brick, while both the street facades are cream-colored cast-iron, with round-arched windows. There are black iron fire escapes on both facades (the one on Walker Street being much smaller), and metal roof cornices. The eastern bay of windows on the Walker Street side has been bricked-in. The ground floor is occupied by Paramount Textile.
