6-story cooperative apartment building completed in 1867 as a five-story store-and-loft building. The sixth floor was added by 1895.The ground floor has banded stone piers and yellow cast-iron Corinthian columns. The upper floors have recessed, shallow-arched windows, with narrow stone cornices at each floor. A white metal fire escape runs down the center of the White Street facade. Both facades are crowned by a bracketed and dentiled roof cornice with a triangular pediment in the center of the White Street side.

The building was mainly occupied by dry goods firms for salesrooms, storerooms, and offices, including the Lincoln Fabrics Company in the 1940s. Currently, a restaurant occupies the ground floor and the upper floors are residential.
