5-story Italianate residential building completed in 1866. Designed by Carl Pfeiffer, it is clad in white stone, with rusticated end columns. The ground floor is painted black,with fluted Corinthian columns and show windows. The upper-floor windows are segmental-arched, with keystones, and squared pilasters between each window. Small stone cornices form the sills at each floor. A metal fire escape runs down the center of the West Broadway facade, and several of the center windows on the Thoma Street side have been filled-in. Both facades are topped by a black bracketed and modillioned roof cornice. The ground floor is occupied by American Apparel.
