5-story Italianate residential building completed in 1860 as a store-and-loft building. It was constructed in 1859-60 as two buildings with a dividing partition wall for Theodore Beach, dry goods merchant Martin E. Greene, and Poughkeepsie merchant Stephen Baker. Faced in stone (now painted), the Italianate facade above the first story has ten bays of window openings per story. The second story has square-headed window openings; those at stories three through five are segmental-arched. A cornice above the second story and quoins further enhance the design. The facade is crowned by a molded stone stringcourse surmounted by a sheet-metal cornice; the cornice has been partially cut to accommodate a fire escape.

During the 1860s, it was occupied by a number of important dry goods firms. For much of its later history it was occupied by shoe wholesalers. The building is currently residential apartments above on the upper floors. The ground floor is occupied by L&O Frame.
