5-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1861. The building's facade design, with its rectilinear articulation and stylized classical forms, is a rare surviving early example of the use the neo-Grec style in commercial architecture in New York. Faced in limestone, the facade above the 1st floor has three bays of window openings per story. The 2nd floor has unusual segmental-arched window heads with distinctively profiled notched springers. The springers are repeated at the window heads of the 3rd and 4th stories. The 5th-floor window bays have simple flat arches with rounded corners. The bays are flanked by pilasters which support sill courses at each story; each bay terminates at the 5th floor story in bands of scalloped moldings. Recessed panels and rondels are used as decorative motifs on the pilasters, the spandrel panels between the windows, and on the frieze just below the bracketed sheet-metal cornice with consoles at each end.

In the mid 1930s, the upper stories were leased by a manufacturer of blueprint and other special papers. In 1943, the upper stories of 94 & 96-102 Reade were connected, but were then closed in 1961. The building is currently commercial on the ground floor with residential above. The ground floor is occupied by Tribeca Treats.
