331-foot, 33-story residential building completed in 2003. Designed by Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron, it is clad partially in dark red brick, and partially with grey metal, framing blue-grey glass. The ground floor is clad in pre-cast stone and grey metal on the avenue, and in pre-cast stone along 26th Street, with three wide bays; the eastern bay has a storefront, the middle bay the main entrance, and the western bay the entrance to the underground parking garage.

The eastern section rises straight up the the 7th floor before setting back to the main tower, which is recessed above the other bays. This 7-story section is clad in red brick, subdivided into four bays on each side; three of these bays have triple-windows (larger double-windows at the 2nd floor) while the remaining bay on each side is framed in metal and meets at a narrow chamfered corner. This chamfered corner continues above on the tower. The tower has four brick piers running up the west end of the north facade, with three more at the west end of the south facade. The rest of the north facade is a curtain wall of grey metal and glass. The southeast corner of the tower portion also has a narrow chamfered corner beginning above the 7-story base. The east-facing elevation of the tower is clad in a curtain wall, wrapping around the corner to part of the south elevation. A plain red brick wall rises in the middle of this elevation, line with horizontal stone band courses at each floor, before giving way to a south-projecting section with another chamfered corner and curtain-wall cladding. The west-facing elevation is clad in brick with horizontal stone bands. It has three bays - the center one with three windows per floor, and the outer two each with four windows. A glass-clad mechanical penthouse with an angled top rises above the main roof line.

A 2-story commercial wings extends to the south, fronting 25th Street. It is occupied by a Goodwill store. Chelsea Tower contains 227 apartment units. The ground floor of the main wing is occupied by MedRite Chelsea Urgent Care, and Newpower Bodywork.
