168-foot, 18-story modernist residential building with a portion run as furnished apartments by Marriott, originally completed in 1987 as a 7-story apartment building, designed by Herbert L. Mandel. In 1998 it was enlarged to its present size by the same developer. The tower is roughly L-shaped, with the ground floor lined with storefronts along the avenue. Pre-cast concrete piers, beveled on the edges, divide the 7th Avenue facade into 12 bays, each three windows wide, and the 24th Street side into 8 bays of varying widths.
The piers and spandrels are mostly painted light-grey, except for two of the bays toward the north end of the 7th Avenue facade that are painted white, two bays on the 24th Street side, above the entrance, that are painted white and the remaining bays on both facade up to the 4th floor, which are painted dark-grey. Each rounded corner pier is also white. At the base of each window group is a black metal vent.
The south facade two bays of small square windows in the center, which is faced in white concrete. The ends each have a bay of triple- and double-windows framed by grey-painted spandrels and a beveled pier on the inner edge. The west half of this facade (and the whole western elevation) sets back above the 13th floor, with the eastern half rising to 18 floors. On the western elevation, the exception to this is the two white-painted bay near the north end, which set back above the 7th floor. Here there is a glass-enclosed space with metal railings at the 8th floor; the recessed upper floors of these two bays are painted white, with continuous bands of seven windows per floor up to the top floor, above which is a plain mechanical penthouse rising above the rest of the roof line. The northern elevation also sets back above the 13th floor.
On the west and north sides of the taller tower portion, ribbons bands of windows line the walls. The southern part of the east-facing elevation continues the pattern of mostly triple-windows in bays defined by beveled-edge piers. The northern part of the east-facing elevation, which extends further to the east, has only small square windows, which metal panels on the lower floors, and grey-painted concrete at the upper floors between the framing elements. The western bay of the south facade has two balconies with angled edges at the 7th & 8th floors.
The building contains 204 units. The ground floor is occupied by FedEx Office, and Heavenly Finest Market.
