6-story French Beaux-Arts residential building completed in 1898. Designed by Lyndon P. Smith, it is clad in brown Roman brick above a limestone ground floor. On the right a small stoop with stone sidewalls leads up to a black wooden door with paneled wood sidelights and a transom, set in a limestone surround embellished with flowing ribbons and meandering shapes flanked by two chubby youths, below which descend two rather sword-like elements on either side of the door. A window to the left is topped by an Art-Noveau portrait head. Below there is a small basement areaway with a low iron railing, with two basement windows and an entry below the stoop.

The upper floors have two bays of wide, recessed, single-windows flanked by stylized Corinthian stone columns decorated with swirling bands, except for at the top floor where the windows are slightly smaller. The facade is fronted by a fire escape with iron French style grilles, and is topped by a brick parapet. The building was sold in 1919 and the large full-floor apartments split into two per floor. The building underwent another renovation, completed in 1958, which resulted in four apartments on each floor.
