138-foot, 10-story residential building completed in 1929. Designed by Charles B. Meyers, it is clad in variegated reddish-brown brick above a 2-story limestone base with a granite water table. The front facade is symmetrical, with a central entrance with wood-and-glass double-doors recessed in a black stone surround edged in a granite molding and covered by a rounded, green canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. There is a square window opening on either side. Above, the upper floors are set back behind a metal railing.
The upper floors at the set-back middle section have a wide single-window in the middle and a bay of paired windows on either side. The east and west wings on the rest of the facade both have three wide single-windows flanked by a bay of paired windows on either side. At the ground floor there is a secondary entrance with a wood-framed glass door at the middle bay of each wing. At the far ends, there are serve entrances down a few steps from the sidewalk, and below each window there are low basement windows with iron grilles just above the sidewalk level.
On the upper floors, the middle recessed bay and the outer paired-window bays on both wings have brick spandrels between the 3rd & 4th floors adorned with abstract geometric brickwork patterns, repeated between the 7th & 8th floors. The three middle bays of each wing have spandrels of horizontally banded brick between floors at the 4th-7th floors, and there is a small, projecting iron balcony at the middle bay of each wing at the 4th & 8th floors. A broad band of geometric brick edges at top and bottom with limestone runs below the 9th floor, including around the light well at the middle. The top floor is set back from the rest of the facade, creating terrace space at the wings.
The building contains 72 apartment units.
