141-foot, 12-story Art-Deco office building completed in 1925. Designed by Sugarman, Hess & Berger, it is clad in beige brick above a 2-story limestone base. The ground floor has the main entrance on the left, with a marble-lined round-arch containing a deeply-recessed set of bronze-and-glass double-doors, sidelights, transom, and fanlight. The arch has a large, marble scrolled keystone and an inscription above labeled "BRENLEY BUILDING" above some floral ornament. To the right, the original storefront has been replaced by blocks of grey marble infill with a set of recessed stainless-steel-and-glass double-doors. It is now occupied by West Garden spa. The 2nd floor is set off by a band course and has three bays of triple-windows with thin iron mullions. Each is topped by a keystone panel with Renaissance ornament, and the base is capped by a band course with a Greek fret pattern below it at each bay.
The brick upper floors have paired windows in the three bays, with brick spandrels as well. The facade is dotted with protruding air-conditioning units. The outer bays set back above the 7th floor, where the spandrels have stone shields and floral ornament. The middle bay sets back above the 9th floor, with the same decoration on the spandrels. To the sides are angled facets, each with a wide single-window, receding back to the farther set-back end bays, now one window wide, with more stone shields. The top floors continue the setbacks, but the 10th floor has a more modern look, with plate-glass windows bands alternating recessed and non-recessed panes in grey metal framing.
