50 Hudson Yards (New York City, New York)

1,011-foot, 58-story modernist office building completed in 2022 for Related Companies and Oxford Properties, replacing what was a drive-through McDonald's. Designed by Foster + Partners, it takes up a full block, and is clad in white stone and dark-tinted glass. The building is organized as three rectangular components, each one smaller than the one below it. The stone piers arrange the east and west facades into three enormous bays, while the wider north and south facades have 12 narrower bays, with recessed stone spandrels creating 4-story blocks. The 5-story base has a recessed, double-height ground floor, and there are entrances at the center of each of the four facades.

The first floor of each new section is recessed and has black stone piers. The upper section has a larger setback on its west side. The ground level lobbies feature two abstract sculptures by acclaimed artist Frank Stella.
