1,041-foot, 66-story modernist/futurist office building completed in 2021 for Tishman Speyer. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, it takes up the full block and is clad in blue glass. The name derives from the continuous series of cascading, landscaped terraces that wind their way up the building. The tower steps back slightly as the terraces ascend, narrowing toward the top. The chain of amenity spaces and terraces originates at the Spiral’s main entrance on 34th Street and Hudson Boulevard. Inside, every terrace becomes a double-height atrium with views over Manhattan, offering a more informal setting for meetings, events, and recreational activities. These spaces connect multiple levels in the building, offering an alternative to elevators to encourage physical activity and interaction amongst colleagues. The 6-story base of the building includes a lobby with ceiling heights of up to 30 feet.

The main entrance is centered on 34th Street, with two sets of glass doors in a vast glass surround. Along the top edge of each shallow setback along the spiral is a short trellis-like fence to which greenery is attached. The building serves as the global headquarters of Pfizer.
