Historic series of flood control siphons listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Built: 1926
Architect: Pride and Fairley (Blytheville, AR); Elliott and Harmon Engineering Company (Memphis, TN)
Areas of significance: Engineering; Drainage and Flood Control
Area: 3 acres
Also known as: Rivervale Tunnel; Rivervale Culvert
Date added to NRHP: 3/22/1991
Notes: This series of concrete siphons diverts water from ditch 4 under the right-hand chute of the Little River. Without this mechanism, ditch 4 would simply drain into the right-hand chute; what this system does is divert the water so that it empties at a different location along the right-hand chute, which acts to avoid the flooding that historically occurred in this area.
