194-foot, 16-story Renaissance-revival office building completed in 1924. Designed by Buchman & Kahn for the Banco Construction Corp., it is clad in brown brick above a 2-story limestone base. It is five bays wide, with the main entrance at the east end, and a service entrance at the west end. The main entrance is framed by stainless steel and polished grey granite, with recessed glass doors and light fixtures attached to the piers. The other ground-floor piers are also grey granite, except for the limestone ones at the service entrance. The three storefronts in the middle have three upper-level windows, and three lower-level windows/doors. On the 2nd floor the three wider middle bays have window groups consisting of two wide panes flanked by two narrower panes, each topped by a transom pane. The end bays have three narrow panes, with transom panes. All the window framing is black metal, and they have stone sills. The base is capped by an ornately carved stone cornice with foliate pattern.
The upper floors have two windows per bay, with those in the end bays spaced more closely together. A continuous stone sill joined all the windows across the middle bays at the 4th floor. At the top of the 8th floor, the six inner piers (and the inner edge of the two bordering piers) have stylized stone capitals, supporting a fluted stone band course with carved bunting across the top. The 9th floor has carved stone panels on the piers framing the end bays, and is capped by a stone cornice with large modillions.
The four middle windows extend up two more floors to a setback, while the ends of the facade set back above the 9th floor, with another setback above the 11th floor topped by a dentiled cornice. The middle section has three windows at the 12th floor, and narrows to two windows at the 13th floor, where the final setback of the middle section occurs, above a modillioned cornice. The ends, also with two windows at the 13th floor, set back here as well above modillioned cornices. The top two floors return to the pattern of paired window across five bays. The middle three bays are capped by a corbelled cornice, while the ends rise up above the main roof line in tall brick towers with corbels at the tops. The ground floor is occupied by 34th Street Dental, and Global Leathers.
