6-story Romanesque-revival cooperative-apartment building completed in 1898. It is clad in tan brick with a good deal of terra-cotta ornament. The ground floor has bands of red brick and is capped by a thin stone band course. The second and top floors have round-arched windows, two of which on each floor are framed by slender columns. From a stone cornice at the top of the second floor, thin pointed piers rise to the top of the building. Carved terra-cotta panels are located above each of the 3rd floor windows, with rounded pediments above those on the 4th floor. A saw-toothed band course caps the 4th floor. The 5th floor windows also have carved terra-cotta panels above. Corbelled brick band courses also run across some of the floors. The building is crowned by a bracketed metal roof cornice. It contains 19 apartment units and was converted to a cooperative around 1980.
