A pair of 5-story residential buildings probably both completed together in the 1850s as Greek-revival townhouses. Both have had several alterations over the years, especially at No. 70. At this building, a modern storefront with metal rolldown gate has been installed, with the facde faced in smooth stucco painted light grey, and scored to resemble stone at the 2nd floor. This floor has three round-arched windows, and a metal modillioned cornice at the top, with a metal railing along the base of the 3rd floor. The upper floors have square-headed windows with splayed stone lintels and keystones. At the roof is a bracketed cornice below a metal railing.

At No. 68 a 2-story cast-iron storefront as installed, with a modern plate glass update to the ground floor portion. The upper floors are surfaced in smooth stucco, painted red. At the roof is a black-painted bracketed metal cornice. The ground floor is occupied by Davis Optical.
