144-foot, 16-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1961. Designed by Brown & Guenther as a rental apartment building, it contains 106 apartment units. It has a white brick facade with strong horizontal emphasis. Most of the windows bays have main central panes with narrower side windows. There are also three bays of single-windows, two wider and one with narrow windows. Air conditioning vents are located below many of the window groups. The top two floors are set back from the building's corners, and have angled edges. The main entrance is on 12th Street, where the ground floor is clad in polished black granite, and a peaked black canvas canopy extends out to the sidewalk. The building was converted to a cooperative in 1982.

The ground floor is occupied by Downtown Stationers, Unlimited Jeans, Spring Star Nails, 6th Avenue News & Tobacco, Village Wine & Spirit Shop, and an AT&T wireless store.
