5-story Renaissance-revival residential building originally completed in 1852 as a 4-story rowhouse. In 1910 it was converted for commercial use; the top story was raised, and a new facade of buff-colored brick was erected at the building line. It was returned to residential use in 2005. Above the modern storefront, the facade has been stripped of ornament. The 2nd floor consists of a large bay composed of three windows with transoms separated by slender mullions. The 3rd & 4th floors repeat this pattern with the exception that new aluminum sash windows and new panning have been installed to allow casement instead of single pane windows. The 5th floor retains its original single-paned windows. The facade is terminated by a projecting cornice. The east elevation shows exposed brick and stucco patching. The ground floor is occupied by Fireclay tile.
