6-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1885. Designed by Richard Berger as a store, it is clad in red brick with white stone banding, sills and lintels. A brown metal cornice is over the storefront on the corner. There is a large metal awning suspended over the entrance on Crosby Street, which is at the north end of the building, and a brown metal roof cornice, with brackets and dentils at the southern end. The full length of the Crosby Street elevation spans 14 bays, with the 2nd from the north bricked-in. There is a metal fire escape in the center of this facade. The south facade on Spring Street spans six bays. The bays on the south end of the building have joined white stone lintels. The ground floor is occupied by the MoMA Design Store.
