3-story Federal-style residential building originally completed in 1832 as a 2.5-story row house. It was raised to three full floors in 1884 by John P. Leo. There is a 1-story addition on the south side, built in the early 1900s (occupied by Launderama). In 1910 a saloon opened on the first floor. The facade is clad in red brick, with a large green awning around the ground-floor storefront. The ground floor of the main building is occupied by 78 W. 3 St. Deli.
