5-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1887. Designed by John B. Snook as a tenement, it is clad in red brick with white limestone bands connecting the four bays of window sills and lintels. In the 1930s, the roof cornice was removed and replaced with a brick and stuccoed parapet. In 1937, the building was purchased by the Children's Aid Society (C.A.S.), as were numerous adjacent parcels on the lot amounting to approximately 15,000 square feet. It remained under the C.A.S. ownership until 1993.
