4-story Greek-revival residential building completed in 1834 as a 3-story house. In was raised to four stories in 1879, with a Flemish Bond brickwork facade, painted blue-grey. A stoop with iron railings leads to the entry, framed by Doric columns supporting a simple entablature. The tall parlor-floor windows extend all the way down the to small shingled roof over the basement level. The windows have white stone sills and metal cornices. The building is crowned by a bracketed white metal roof cornice. The American Legion Washington Square Post 1212 is located in the basement.
