5-story Neo-Renaissance residential building completed in 1860 as an office building. Designed by Griffith Thomas, it spans through the block to Mercer Street. The Broadway facade is clad in white stone with arcades of round-arched windows between Corinthian columns. A small balcony with balustrade spans the center two windows on the 2nd floor. The windows have carved keystones and projecting stone cornices with scrolled brackets. The facade is crowned by a pedimented roof cornice. On Mercer Street, the building is clad in red brick, with a dark-grey cast-iron ground floor. The 2nd-floor windows are round-arched, topped by stone headers with keystones. The windows above are all square-headed, with stone sills and metal cornices. The Mercer facade is topped by a simple dentiled roof cornice. The building was renovated into condominiums in 2005. The ground floor is occupied by Necessary clothing store.
