7-story Neo-Grec cooperative-apartment building completed in 1881. Designed by J. Morgan Slade as a storage facility for drygoods merchants Dunbar & Wayne. The 1-story base has brick and black cast-iron piers supporting a cast-iron lintel covered with a modern metal sheathing. The red brick upper facade is detailed with a staggered horizontal pattern created by the granite window lintels and bands across the piers between the windows. A black iron fire escape runs down the center of the facade.
In 1895, the building housed a printing operation, and in 1905 it was leased by James Rowland & Company, a grocery firm. Through the 1970s the building was used as a warehouse. It was converted to residential use in the 1980s. The ground floor is occupied by Lotus Salon, and Downtown Pediatrics.
