This residential girls’ school was built for the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions in 1910, and expanded in the mid-1920s. The school closed in 1969, but remained a residence for the Sisters. For a time the Archdiocese of Regina also had its offices there. Then in 1990, the building was converted into apartments. Sacred Heart Academy was designated as a Municipal Heritage Property in 1990, and received a 1993 Municipal Heritage Award in the Adaptive Re-use category.
