Operating from 1936 to 1977, dredging on Coal Creek unearthed 3.2 tons (92,036.385 fine ounces) of gold and 9,645.339 fine ounces of silver. The dredge stopped operation in 1977 1 mile from the Yukon River, where it remains today.
