The semicylindric vaulted basement incorporates fragments of the first fortification. Tenants indicate that there was a second basement.
The eave with curbed profile is unique in the city.
The building was built a little bit later than the other stone houses on this side of the square, in the beginning of the 16th century. It initially had two levels , the second floor being added in the 17th century.
