140-foot, 16-story mid-century modern cooperative-apartment building completed in 1963. Designed by Lawrence M. Rothman, it is clad in red brick. The ground floor along the avenue is lined with metal-and-glass storefronts separated by polished red granite piers. Much of the ground floor on the south facade is banded, with no openings except for the main entrance near the center of the facade and a plate-glass window to its left. The entrance has sliding double-doors below a rounded brown canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. The west end of the south facade has a double-window bay and two bays of tripartite windows, with iron grilles.

The upper floors on the south facade have two tripartite windows are the west end, followed by a double-window, two more tripartite windows, another double-window, a small single-windows, and a larger single-window, with no openings at the east end. The windows have brown metal framing, and there are metal air-conditioning vents below some of the bays. There are setbacks at both ends above the 14th floor, with metal railings. The two middle tripartite window bays continue up to the 16th floor, along with the double-window bay to the right changing to a single-window. There are angled corners at the front, and metal railings at both setbacks.

The upper floors on the east facade have two double-window bays near the middle, with four bays of tripartite windows to the south, and three tripartite windows to the north. There are setbacks above the 14th floor at the southern three bays, and the northern bay, again with angled front corners on the top two floors.

The building contains 162 apartments. The ground floor along the avenue is occupied by Smoke Shop Convenience Store, Fly Wing bike shop, Empire Cleaners, Heena's Threading Salon, and Balayage Bliss hair removal.
