mining, interesting place
Robert Henderson was the first prospector to discover gold in the Klondike, here at Gold Bottom Creek in 1896. His discovery spurred George Carmacks and his pertners, who found rich diggings at nearby Rabbit Creek (soon renamed Bonanza Creek) and led to the Klondike Gold Rush.
