6-story commercial building originally completed in 1915 as a store-and-loft building. Designed by George Dress, the original facade was brick and cast-iron. A lengthy 12-year renovation by Scalar Archictects was completed in 2022, resulting in a contemporary modern facade of geometric composite metal and glass. The original brick end piers remain, with some limestone ornament at each floor.

At the ground floor, there is a central entrance with a metal-framed glass door. Windows on either side are divided into a grid of various panes by aluminum framing, and there is a set a double-doors below a large transom at the west end. The upper floors feature a panelized facade of triangular silver metal panels that undulate across the facade between each floor. The floors themselves have two wide bays in the middle with two larger middle panes grouped with narrower end panes and short upper transoms above each pane, all with grey metal framing. The smaller end bays basically have double-windows with the same framing. An interesting twist is that at alternating floors the piers are shifter over, created a zig-zag effect, with the end bays on floors that the piers are moved over narrower as a result. The piers are covered over by glass panes angling outward to points. A silver composite metal cornice continues the angular, undulating theme.

The building has long been occupied by Nuthouse Hardware, a well-known hardware store in Kips Bay.
