USA / New Jersey / West New York / West 26th Street, 221
film/video production studio/facility, television studio, commercial building

3-story commercial building originally completed in 1866 as an armory that was home to Ninth Mounted Calvary. The unit moved to 14th Street in 1897. Adolph Zukor bought the former armoy and turned it into a studio for the Famous Players Film Company in 1913. Among films produced there was An American Citizen and That Man from Mexico starring John Barrymore.

In the 1950s Himan Brown bought the studio and gutted it to create two sound stages. It would later be called the Production-Center Studios. It is currently owned by All Mobile Video, and produces The Wendy Williams Show and Rachael Ray, among others.

The current facade is clad in tan pre-cast stone on the ground floor, scored into blocks, with a black granite water table. The ground floor has several loading docks with roll-down metal gates as well as some service entrances with metal doors. There are two main entrances, both with glass double-doors, and the western one also has a pair of windows on either side. A black metal canopy carried on a row of curved brackets spans the entire ground floor.

The upper floors have seven sections of different cladding. The ends sections and middle section are smooth, brownish-grey metal panels. The wider sections on either side of the center bay have a grid-like pattern of rust-colored, horizontal and vertical rectangular panels, with selected panels projected forward. The other two sections expose the grey brick behind, and both have signage at the 2nd floor.
