6-story Renaissance-revival cooperative-apartment building completed in 1925. Designed by Bernstein & Bernstein, it is clad in light grey-brown brick with limestone trim above a banded stone ground floor and basement level. A low, 3-step stoop spans the basement areaways and leads to glass-and-wrought-iron double-doors set in an intricate molding topped by a panel carved with an escutcheon and foliate ornament. The doorway is fronted by a pair of grey granite columns with stylized capitals, surmounted by brackets carrying an entablature, which continues as a band course to either side, capping the ground floor. To either side of the entrance is a double-window and a single-window, all segmental-arched, with scrolled keystones. The areaways are enclosed by black iron fencing, and the west basement level has two windows with iron grilles.
The upper floors have seven bays of single-windows. The three middle bays at the 2nd-5th floors have splayed lintels with scrolled acanthus-leaf keystones and banded impost blocks. A string course with an egg-and-dart molding runs below the 3rd floor, and the outer bays at the 2nd floor are framed by fluted columns with fruit bands on the bases and Corinthian capitals; above them are fluted panels with central cartouches, surmounted by taller panels with urns and floral ornament. The outer bays at the 3rd-4th floors have 2-story surrounds, with hanging pendants at the 4th floor, where the windows are topped by carved panels with cartouches and foliate ornament, surmounted by rounded pediments broken by cartouches. The 5th-floor outer bays have similar surrounds, with bracketed sills and triangular pediments. Another string course sets off the top floor, which has flat, hooded lintels at the middle bays, and simpler surrounds at the outer bays.
A white metal fire escape runs down the western two of the middle bays, and the facade is crowned by a grey-green metal roof cornice with brackets, scrolled modillions, and swagged panels. The building contains 25 apartments.
