363 & 365 Third Avenue

A pair of originally matching 5-story residential buildings completed together in 1891. Both were originally clad in red brick above cast-iron storefronts on the ground floor, but No. 363 has been refaced in white smooth-stucco, with stainless-steel piers at the storefront. The residential entrances are at the north end of both buildings.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows. At No. 365 they retain the brownstone surrounds with peaked or curved pediments (although some of the detail has been lost) and brownstone banding. A metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays of both facades. No. 365 is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with brackets, modillions, dentils, and panels, while No. 363's has been removed. The ground floors are occupied by 5ive Spice restaurant, and Coletta restaurant.
