Turkey Track Wind Farm is located on both sides (NE & SW) of Texas Highway 153, about 5 miles from the junction with TX-70 (north) and 7 miles from the junction with US-277 (south), for a total stretch of about 6 miles. Commissioned in 2008, it consists of 133 GE Energy 1.5sle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 169.5 MW.
It sits immediately south of the Horse Hollow III wind farm, whose turbines are quite similar but tend to be located closer together and in longer 'strings'.
