Horse Hollow II Wind Energy Center is a wind farm located in the 'highlands' southeast of Sweetwater and southwest of Abilene, Texas. The three 'Horse Hollow' wind farms run west-southeast thru the center of that area and 'HH2' lies mostly in the center and on the southeast side, both west and east of 'HH1'. Commissioned in 2006, it consisted of 130 Siemens SWT-2.3-93 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 299 MW.
In 2017, the turbines' blades were upgraded, converting the 93 meter (diameter) rotors to 108 meters (but leaving the generating capacity unchanged), thus making them model SWT-2.3-108.
