  • I fail to believe my home is soulless and bland.
  • Future home of the Dallas Cowboys. Arlington is a city that has to overcome years of urban blight in the downtown area and north to the location of the new Dallas Cowboy's stadium. Razing of deteriorating apartments, strip shopping centers, old-style motels, run down resturants and used car lots, will steadily improve the area surrounding the entertainment district.
  • this city's nickname should be changed to "Land-Locked U.S.A."
  • That could be said of all of North Texas. The only place that's not really is Corpus Christi/Houston areas down near the gulf.
  • Arlington TX sucks....really lame place...
  • Arlington is lame...i agree with Bert Ecko, this place is soulless and bland with old and boring people
  • But luckily, Solitude Aeturnus comes from Arlington.
  • I thought this city would be cool. I guess I was right. It sort of rocks!
  • Yes, UTA...it is filled with old and boring people...everyone here is really old, and really boring. That is because there is a six-flags theme park, an MLB team, the Cowboys, a major Univ. (UTA), an international airport, and resides in the fastest growing county in Texas. Umm...not sure, but you lack significant insight.
  • This place lacks zoning laws.
  • Arlington is a place where even University students are warned to not walk about ON CAMPUS by themselves. Muggings, robberies, and car theft are common. A recent high school soccer game was subjected to a cross fire by rival gang bangers in their cars. The only upside? Cheapest place to live in the metroplex. Course, there is no public transit option, major traffic congestion, and neglected roadways (though they are improving). As for the stadium? It's built on the former site of several hundred homes. Every stadium event makes the cit into a forest of orange cones in a sad attempt to manage a flood of traffic. The city counsel doesn't care about it's denizens. In short: This city is a shit hole and the City Counsel doesn't care what so ever for it's denizens. Visit the big attractions, live somewhere else.
  • You idiots are paying attention to only one part of Arlington. Its called don't live downtown. West, South, and North Arlington are all great places to live with low crime and great home prices.
