Limon III Wind Farm

The Limon III Wind Farm is located 0-12 miles (19 km) north of Interstate 70 between Genoa and Arriba, 90 miles (145 km) ESE of downtown Denver, Colorado. Commissioned in 2014, it consists of 118 GE Energy 1.7MW wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 200.5 MW.

Note: Current (2017) images permit accurate placement of only 83 of the turbines. A further 28 certain or likely locations can also be identified (the images show construction but not the exact locations). This means that another 7 turbine locations are not identifiable, meaning that the drawn outline (especially on the east side) is a bit speculative and may need to be adjusted when the imagery is updated.
