Flat Ridge 2 Wind Farm stretches for 19 miles (30 km) both north and south of NW 150 Road (which runs north of and between Medicine Lodge and Harper), and is about 55 miles (90 km) WSW of Wichita, Kansas. Commissioned in 2013, it consists of 294 GE Energy 1.6-100 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 470.4 MW.
