9-story residential building completed in 1906. Designed by Louis Korn as a store-and-loft building, it matches the rear facade of the building he designed at 34 West 14th, completed a year earlier. The newer building rises four floors higher, clad in red brick six rectangular windows per floor, with a space in the center. The ground floor is painted blue-grey and dark-grey and is topped by a stone cornice. The upper-floor windows have flat stone lintels and slightly-projecting sills connected by stone bands. An elevator bulkhead rises above the roof line at the east end, and a large round water tower is at the southwest corner of the roof. The ground floor is occupied by the Tenri Cultural Institute.
