152-foot, 15-story Neo-Federal cooperative-apartment building completed in 1923. Designed by Schwartz & Gross, it has slender pilasters rising from just above the sidewalk through three stories, where they are capped by a continuous cornice with paired arched windows above it. Above this, the rest of the facade is clad in red brick, interrupted only by a balustered balcony centered at the 9th floor on Fifth Avenue, and two balconies on 10th Street. There are additional balconies at the 13th floor. The facade spans six bays of double-windows on Fifth Avenue (with the single-window end bays separated by narrow single windows). The 10th Street side spans 10 main bays, with the end bays and the two center bays separated by additional narrow single windows. The top two floors repeat the terra-cotta arched windows motifs with balustered balcony below them.
