255-foot, 26-story modernist cooperative-apartment building completed in 1965. Designed by Boak & Paris as an extension of the Brevoort apartment building located directly west. The entrance to an underground parking garage between the buildings is accessed on either 8th or 9th Street.

The Brevoort East has the same facade design as the earlier building, clad in light-colored brick, with corner balconies with metal railings and numerous setbacks. The metal-framed windows are mainly in groups of three, but there are also double-window groups and singles. There is a major setback above the 13th floor, with the taller part of the tower rising on the east side of the lot. The ground floor storefronts are occupied by J's Mart, Village Party Store, a CVS pharmacy, Aphrodite Dry Cleaners, and a Chase Bank branch.
