4-story Greek-revival residential building completed in 1844 as an investment townhouse for Aquila G. Stout. The third story was raised from attic to full height and a fourth floor added, with a bracketed and dentiled roof cornice, in the late 1800s. On the right hand, at each floor, the original windows were removed to make way for the triple windows seen today. The first-floor window was replaced in the 1940s. The facade is clad in orange brick.
