150-foot, 12-story Chicago School-style residential building completed in 1912. Designed by Schwartz & Gross as a store-and-loft building, its 2-story base is edged in simple limestone with a storefront and brick spandrel; it has six joined windows at the 2nd floor. The 10-story shaft is faced in red brick laid in English bond. It has two narrow end piers and brick spandrels which frame rows of five windows similar to those of the 2nd floor. A stone string course is located at the sill of the 11th floor. The stone parapet is composed of a segmental-arch above intertwined forms and embellished pier heads. The building was converted to residential in the 1980s, when the upper-floor windows were also replaced.
