 1850s construction, commercial building
4-story mercantile building originally completed in 1858 as a townhouse. It received its present Commercial Palace-style facade in 1871. The first-story glass and stainless steel shopfront dates from a 1953 alteration. Above, the facade is white cast-iron and has a fire escape across the northern bays. Over the ground floor is a bracketed metal cornice. The 2nd through the 4th floors are treated similarly with a 4-bay arcade with three columns flanking the center windows and pilasters at the outside edges. The modillioned cornice has console brackets aligned over the columns and pilasters. An arched pedimented parapet surmounts the cornice. The ground floor is occupied by Stoops cannabis dispensary.
