4-story Italianate mercantile building originally completed in 1842 as a rowhouse on an unusually-shaped triangular lot. The building was converted for commercial use sometime in the 1860s. In the 1880s, the building was used for jewelry manufacturing and as a fruit store. In 1889, a new 2-story, iron-framed storefront was constructed. On the 2nd floor it has a 5-part iron-framed show window with fluted pilasters at the ends.

The top two floors are clad in red brick, and each have three square-headed windows with molded lintels. A bracketed black iron roof cornice caps the facade. The ground floor is occupied by Steve Madden shoes.
