6-story Neo-Grec residential building completed in 1877 as a 4-story apartment house with store. Designed by William Jose, it is three bays wide, clad in red brick with sandstone banding and sills, and curved and bracketed brownstone window hoods, above a black cast-iron ground floor with paneled columns. The 4th floor is topped by a grey iron roof cornice with curved and scrolled brackets, panels, and moldings.

By 1915, the building's upper stories were being used for light manufacturing, although they were not legally converted until 1961. Long-term commercial tenants included the Krug Billiard Table Co. (c. 1940-65) and Herbst & Berger Irnports/Exports (c. 1950-65). Then, in 1965, the upper floors were converted to artists' lofts. It was converted to condominiums with a 2-story penthouse addition on top in 2003. It is faced in white stone, with a metal balcony above the 4th-floor cornice, and a set-back northern corner on the top level, with a patio deck. The rest of the addition's north elevation is clad in red brick, with three top-floor windows. The ground floor is occupied by Slainte Irish bar and lounge.
